We have visited for lunch in the week and also Sunday lunch. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and the food is unpretentious and tasty, with reasonable prices. It's very pleasant eating in front of the log burner in a comforting and friendly atmosphere. Booking on Sundays is necessary; at other times, you can probably just rock up and get a space if your luck is in!

Such a beautiful place. Most delicious full English brekkie (smaller options also available). Super friendly for people and doggies. Cakes looked amazing too though far too full to sample any.

3rd visit here and it never disappoints. I went here for a valentines meal whilst staying onsite and we had the best meal. The food is delicious and the steak literally melted in the mouth. The surroundings are delightful and the log fire is the best for a cold winters evening. We will definitely be back!

Freshly cooked food served in the erstwhile Cattle Shed. This Tudor manor was once Penhros Brewery financed by Terry Jones of Monty Python. Once the preserve of rock stars. Led Zeppelin stayed here in the 1970's. So did Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells) & Freddie Mercury. And you can too...

First thing to say is, certainly on a Sunday, book. We were fortunate to walk in and get a cancellation but saw a few people turned away as booked up. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the setting is great and the food was fantastic and more than enough!! You have the Python's Arms (Google it) next door if you fancy a drink.

Visited while on a local motorbike ride with my daughter. High quality food and friendly service. At the end of the meal we were not asked at the table whether we wanted anything else (I fancied another coffee!) but that's nothing major. Great atmosphere in a lovely setting and prices are reasonable for excellent food. Will definitely visit again.

Went today for coffee & a tea cake. First time visiting & it certainly won't be my last. The cafe was so cosy & beautiful inside. Very clean. Staff were all very friendly. Coffee itself tasted great. Looking forward to visiting again.

Best breakfast I have ever had! Cooked perfectly - beautiful location and even lovelier staff couldn't recommend enough
